The Age of AI

I posted an interactive tutorial for Camp, feel free to comment on it

"The sun gently bathes the mountains and fields, and the wind carries the scent of grass and trees, softly brushing against my face. Such lovely weather is perfect for shouldering a backpack and having a gentle encounter with nature."

It sounds quite poetic, but what does this have to do with my Camp? Is it because 'Camp' in Chinese means 'camping'?

This example also shows that the current AI systems built on large models (LLM) are generating responses based purely on language probabilities to 'seem reasonable' in storytelling, rather than being fact-based.

That's why you often see models seriously spouting nonsense; it's not that they're trying to deceive, but their underlying principles prevent them from verifying truthfulness.

Mira @MiraNetworkCN proposed an interesting solution: a consensus verification mechanism + model staking incentives, allowing AI outputs to be more than just stories, but genuinely verifiable truths.

The core of Mira lies in no longer relying on a single model's responses, but instead breaking each statement into the smallest judgment unit, then distributing them to multiple model nodes for independent verification.

These verification nodes operate independently, sharing no context, thereby reducing bias interference. Ultimately, information is accepted as 'trustworthy' only when the majority of models agree on a certain judgment. Additionally, every model participating in the verification must stake tokens; incorrect judgments are punished, while correct ones are rewarded.

In simple terms, Mira adds a layer of 'credibility proof' to AI responses, similar to how blockchain provides consensus assurance for transactions, it offers factual backing for AI.

Objectively, Mira is not creating smarter models; rather, it is building a trust layer for AI outputs. It uses mechanisms, consensus, and incentives to address the systemic issue of AI outputs that 'seem right but are actually wrong.' This could be the most crucial part of future AI infrastructure.
