JPMorgan Expects Three Fed Rate Cuts Starting September 2025
JPMorgan has updated its outlook for U.S. interest rate policy. The bank now expects the Federal Reserve to make three separate rate cuts in 2025, each by 25 basis points.
The first cut is forecast to come in September 2025, followed by two more before year-end. This is a shift from their earlier prediction, which expected only one cut in December 2025.
The change reflects JPMorgan’s view that the Fed may need to ease policy sooner to support economic growth and manage financial conditions.
