CoinVoice has learned that, according to Cointelegraph, the security company Koi Security has disclosed that the cybercrime group GreedyBear has stolen over $1 million in cryptocurrency through hundreds of fake wallet extensions, malware, and scam websites.

The attackers used Extension Hollowing technology, first creating a legitimate extension that passes market review, then transforming it into malicious software. [Original link]
