🇺🇸 PRESIDENT TRUMP APPOINTS STEPHEN MIRAN TO THE TEMPORARY FEDERAL RESERVE BOARD

🔹 President Donald Trump has appointed Stephen Miran (who currently serves as the Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers) to the Federal Reserve Board, replacing Adriana Kugler, who resigned on Friday.

🔹 Miran will serve the remainder of Kugler's term, which ends on January 31, 2026.

🔹 President Trump stated that this is a temporary appointment, and the search for a permanent candidate for the 14-year term is still ongoing.

🔹 This appointment still requires Senate confirmation. However, the confirmation process is unlikely to occur before the Senate reconvenes in September.

🔹 If approved in a timely manner, Stephen Miran will become a permanent voting member of the Fed at the meeting on September 16–17.
