Regarding everyone's issue with not being able to grab airdrops, I'd like to share my own opinion!
Do you all remember the time when 140 points were first come, first served? I often see people in the square complaining about needing facial recognition and not being able to grab airdrops, but I have never encountered the issues that netizens mentioned. I usually grab airdrops without needing facial recognition, and it’s quite easy! I manage to get them almost every time!
After Binance changed the mechanism to risk pre-check + slider, it has become necessary to have facial recognition for every airdrop, and I often get prompts saying there was an error! From what I see in the square from other users’ shares, some mention slow internet speeds, while others say their phones respond slowly, needing memory cleanup, etc. I’ve tried all of that, and none of it worked; if I couldn’t grab it, I still couldn’t!
The turning point came on August 5th, when my points had been forced to accumulate to over 250. That day, there were two major players going live, $TOWNS and $PROVE , and I was able to get in on the first tier for both, and neither required facial recognition—just grabbed them! On August 6th, $FIR pre-checked facial recognition, and after the slider, I grabbed it directly; it was very smooth! On August 7th, which is today, IN and X didn’t need facial recognition at all; I just clicked on the pre-check and it was approved immediately. I don’t know why, but X’s pre-check was approved, and after the slider, it asked for facial recognition again, so I couldn’t grab it. IN was still very smooth, and I managed to grab it.
I believe Binance has a distribution mechanism in place. If you can’t grab it now, it’s fine; you can just take the first tier! Points still need to be continuously earned, and I hope everyone does better and better!
