《I used Succinct Prover to tackle ZK proofs, and the programmers next door are crying with envy!》
Family, who understands? Previously, working with zero-knowledge proofs (ZK) felt like building Lego without the instruction manual—my hair was falling out, and I still couldn't figure it out. Until I discovered the Prover network and SP1 from Succinct Labs, wow, it opened up a whole new world for me!
How ridiculous is this thing? Just last week, I was struggling with deploying a ZK application and toiling on the server until three in the morning (coffee kept me alive until my soul left my body), and now with SP1, I got it done in ten minutes. Even my cat was so shocked that it knocked over its food—after all, the last time it saw me this efficient was when I was opening a can.
Real use case hit: Previously, using other frameworks to generate proofs was as slow as waiting for a delivery guy to climb stairs (three days, three days!), but SP1 gave me “lightning delivery” directly. The money saved on gas fees is enough to buy a week’s worth of milk tea. The best part is that I don’t have to set up nodes myself; managing proofs is as easy as ordering takeout, even my cousin who can only write “Hello World” can operate it, definitely the “king of the sinking market for ZK proofs.”
Cons? There are some:
Occasionally, a few “geeky jargons” pop up in the documentation, and I have to look them up and curse myself for being clueless (but the big shots in the community Discord reply instantly, which is touching).
Currently, the ecosystem hasn’t reached a “rich and overflowing” level yet, but seeing their official Twitter announce collaborations every day, it feels like they are about to take off.
Now, the programmer next door asks me every day, “How did you do this ZK, help me out, brother?” I just toss him a reply—“Succinct, those who know, know.”
Let’s interact: Have you been tortured by ZK? Come to the comments and share your misery
