SharpLink Approaches $2B in Ethereum Assets, Aiming for 1M ETH Reserve

SharpLink, originally a gaming firm, recently disclosed its current Ether holdings of 521,939 ETH, valued at nearly $1.9 billion. Joe Lubin's Ether treasury company assisted in this, acquiring 83,561 ETH for $264.5 million between July 28 and August 3. SharpLink is aiming to achieve 1 million ETH as its initial treasury milestone, marking halfway to the goal already.

Despite this, Bitmain Immersion Technologies remains the largest ETH treasury company, holding 833,100 ETH worth about $3 billion. Notably, ETH prices have dipped slightly, but the market remains within its three-week trading channel. Lubin also emphasized Ethereum's potential mainstream adoption due to increasing interest from global financial institutions.
