In the past year up to June 30, 2024, Bitcoin's Sharpe ratio reached 1.41, just slightly below the S&P 500 (1.76) and Nasdaq 100 (1.72) ā but still far better compared to gold and the US dollar.
Even more interesting, in the last 10 years, Bitcoin has also excelled with a Sharpe ratio of 0.94. This means that, despite its volatility, its potential returns remain outstanding for long-term investors.
