NASA wants to build a nuclear reactor on the Moon by 2030 - it's not built this fast on Earth.

U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy intends to announce plans this week to expedite the construction of a nuclear reactor on the Moon.

⚡️ Details

It should be noted that Sean Duffy is also serving as the acting administrator of NASA.

DW writes that the agency's directive states that the first country to build a nuclear power plant on the Moon may "declare a restricted zone that significantly limits U.S. activities." The document also requires NASA to appoint a project leader within 60 days and obtain proposals from companies to launch a 100-kilowatt nuclear reactor on the Moon by 2030.

Another hype. Another budget cut.

What do you think? Who will lead?
