$CFX Nearly a Quarter of CFOs at Billion-Dollar Companies Plan to Embrace Cryptocurrency
A new Deloitte survey reveals that a growing number of CFOs at billion-dollar companies are preparing to integrate cryptocurrencies into their business operations. The report found that nearly a quarter of CFOs expect their organizations to accept digital assets within the next few years.
The survey, conducted in June of this year, surveyed 200 CFOs at companies with annual revenue exceeding $1 billion. The results showed that 23% of CFOs said their finance departments plan to adopt cryptocurrencies for payments or investments within the next two years.
Concerns and Challenges Ahead
Despite growing interest in cryptocurrencies, CFOs remain cautious. In the survey, 43% of respondents listed price volatility as their biggest concern. Forty-two percent also expressed concerns about accounting complexity, and 40% expressed concerns about the evolving regulatory environment.
