STAN social gaming platform secures $8.5 million financing, with investments from Google and others



According to HaShiChain news, the STAN social gaming platform has successfully completed a $8.5 million equity financing, with participation from Google's AI Futures Fund. In this round of financing, investments also came from Aptos Labs, Bandai Namco 021 Fund, Square Enix, Nazara, King River Capital, General Catalyst, and GFR Fund. STAN's total accumulated financing has reached $15 million, and it has now obtained 25 million downloads and 5.5 million monthly active users. The platform monetizes through game victory rewards of 'Gems' and creator club commissions, allowing users to exchange these rewards for e-commerce vouchers such as Amazon. Nearly 80% of the platform's content review relies on AI, and in the future, it will leverage Google's technology to enhance its generative tools and global expansion capabilities.
