When trading contracts, "stable profits" is the real skill; the dream of getting rich often leads to liquidation. To survive and make money, you must adhere to several key points:
1. **Light position is king:** Don’t expect to get rich overnight! It is recommended to limit each position to no more than 1-5% of total funds. High leverage is a double-edged sword and can easily be wiped out by small fluctuations.
2. **Set stop-loss:** The first thing to do when opening a position! Pre-set a loss point you can tolerate and execute it mechanically. Don’t hold onto losing positions or fantasize; preserving your capital is key for the next opportunity.
3. **Follow the trend:** Don’t go against the trend! Learn to identify the main direction (bullish/bearish) and only intervene when the trend is favorable. Betting against the trend to catch a rebound carries extremely high risks.
4. **Strictly control leverage:** Low leverage (like 5-10x) is a prudent choice. High leverage (50x, 100x) may seem tempting, but in reality, it is a "quick route to zero."
5. **Maintain a stable mindset:** Reject FOMO (fear of missing out) and revenge trading. Stop after a loss, and don’t get carried away after a profit. Plan your trades, and trade your plan.
6. **Take profits in batches:** When reaching your target, you can secure part of the profits, while setting a trailing stop to protect your remaining profits, allowing your gains to run while locking in some results.
