Centrifuge appoints former Goldman Sachs executive as COO to accelerate RWA institutionalization



According to reports, the blockchain asset tokenization platform Centrifuge has announced the appointment of Jürgen Blumberg, a senior executive previously responsible for ETF operations at Goldman Sachs, as Chief Operating Officer (COO). He will also serve as Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the affiliated on-chain asset management company Anemoy. Blumberg has over 20 years of experience in ETF operations at institutions such as Goldman Sachs, Invesco, and BlackRock. Centrifuge is expanding its platform of tokenized products, including S&P 500 index and collateralized loan obligation (CLO) funds, with a total value locked on the platform exceeding $760 million. Blumberg will focus on bringing traditional financial institutions on-chain and optimizing institutional-grade tokenized products.
