According to analysts, in the first half of the year, hackers stole more than $3.01 billion during 119 hacks. This is one and a half times greater than the total losses of the cryptocurrency industry for the entire past year.
The record transfer speed was 4 seconds. At the same time, the average time from attack to first movement is 15 hours. Public disclosure usually takes 37 hours. This means that cybercriminals have more than 20 hours to cover their tracks.
