Bitcoin started a week of consolidation in the range of $116,000 to $120,000 but began to decline in early August, quickly approaching the $112,000 level. This was due to a combination of several factors favorable to BTC. According to Coinmarketcap, at the time of writing, BTC was trading at approximately $113,868, down 4.12% for the week. Among the top ten cryptocurrencies, Dogecoin has suffered the largest losses for two consecutive weeks.
It lost 16.66% in 7 days, falling to $0.1986 at the time of writing.
Meanwhile, the only cryptocurrency in the top ten that has maintained a slight increase is the Tron token (TRX). According to Coinmarketcap, at the time of writing, it was trading at around $0.3257, up 1.54% for the week.
