There are currently about 149,000 ETH waiting to be deposited for interest,
which is more than the 123,000 waiting yesterday.
These ETH waiting to be deposited are worth approximately 529 million USD.
If you deposit now, you would need to wait about 2 days and 14 hours before interest starts accruing.
In simple terms, there are two groups doing opposite things:
One group wants to sell coins to make money: Ethereum has increased by more than 160% from its lowest point in April, and some depositors feel they have made enough profit and want to cash out, so the number of people waiting has increased.
The other group wants to deposit: due to recent favorable regulations and institutions wanting to buy, the queue has also lengthened.
For example, listed companies like SharpLink Gaming and BitMine Immersion are both increasing their holdings and staking.
