According to Deep Tide TechFlow news, on August 4, the French newspaper "Le Monde" reported that the French right-wing party "National Rally" (Rassemblement National) plans to propose a bill to utilize the surplus electricity from nuclear power plants for Bitcoin mining.
The party member Aurélien Lopez-Liguori began drafting the relevant bill in July.
