The wallet supporting WCT has added a staking asset insurance purchase feature. Users can directly purchase asset insurance for their staked WCT within the wallet, with the premium paid in WCT (1% of the insured amount). In the event of income loss due to node failure, users can receive 80% compensation of the insured amount (settled in WCT). After the feature was launched, the insurance purchase rate among staking users reached 25%, and users' concerns about staking risks decreased by 60%. One user received compensation of 1000 WCT due to node failure, truly experiencing the protective effect of insurance. The asset insurance feature provides WCT staking users with a risk hedging tool, enhancing their confidence in participating in staking.
