WCT Incentive Program's Copyright Protection Tool for Community Content Creators
To protect the rights of community content creators, WCT has launched a copyright protection tool. Creators can hash and store the values of their tutorials, analytical articles, and other content on the blockchain as proof, with a storage fee paid in WCT (only 0.1 WCT required). If infringement is detected, creators can use the on-chain proof to protect their rights, and successful claimants will receive 30% of the compensation from the infringer as a reward (settled in WCT). After the tool was launched, the piracy rate of high-quality community content decreased by 80%, and the submission enthusiasm of creators increased by 50%. A certain creator successfully protected their rights using the copyright protection tool and received a compensation reward of 500 WCT. The copyright protection tool has made the community content ecosystem healthier and stimulated creators' ongoing production motivation.
