WCT Pledged Node Energy Consumption Monitoring
WCT has introduced energy consumption monitoring for nodes, requiring node operators to regularly report electricity usage data. Nodes using clean energy will receive additional allocations from the reward pool (5% share). Monitoring data shows that in 2025, the total energy consumption of ecological nodes decreased by 15% compared to the previous year, and the clean energy usage rate increased from 20% to 35%. A certain node, due to its 100% use of solar energy, was awarded the annual "Green Node" title, with rewards increased to 1.5 times the base reward. The monitoring not only responds to environmental protection trends but also highlights the social value of WCT pledges, attracting long-term investors focused on ESG.
