UK Regulator to Allow Retail Investors Access to Crypto ETNs in October

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) will open access for retail investors to crypto exchange-traded notes (cETNs) starting October 8, 2025, provided that these products are traded through regulated exchanges in the UK and comply with financial promotion regulations and Consumer Duty. Investor compensation protection does not apply to these products.
