According to BlockBeats, a statue of Bitcoin's anonymous creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, was stolen today in Lugano, Switzerland. The statue, located in Ciani Park, was unveiled on October 25, 2024, as part of a collaboration between Tether and the city of Lugano under the Plan B initiative. Designed by Italian artist Valentina Picozzi, the statue took 18 months of research and three months to construct.
