There are two airport colleagues working at duty free and talking about their future and currently plans while struggling to make the day. They hear on names Anastasios (broke but thinking ahead) and loukas (skeptical friend) this conversation takes place during their lunch break. LOUKAS Bro, you’re literally living off instant noodles. Why are you buying crypto? ANASTASIOS Because I’m strategically broke. I can’t afford NOT to invest. LOUKAS What do you even expect? That your €30 in Bitcoin will make you rich? ANASTASIOS Not rich overnight. But consistent investing builds wealth, not lottery wins. I’m playing the long game — 7 years, monthly DCA. That’s how grown-ups invest. LOUKAS But isn’t crypto risky? ANASTASIOS So is doing nothing with your money. At least with Bitcoin or ETH, I have scarcity, utility, and global adoption on my side. My bank savings give me 0.01% interest. Crypto gives me hope and historical performance. LOUKAS Still sounds like a gamble. ANASTASIOS Nope. Gambling is all-in on some memecoin at 3AM. What I’m doing is disciplined exposure with money I can afford to lose. Even €40/month could stack up. It’s not about the amount — it’s about consistency. LOUKAS Okay, but why now? Aren’t we late? ANASTASIOS That’s what people said in 2015… and 2017… and 2020. Crypto is still early for the patient. I’m planting seeds now so I don’t have to work 3 jobs in 2032. LOUKAS Damn. You made it sound smart. ANASTASIOS It is smart. Broke today, maybe free tomorrow. I’ll take that over ramen for life. I hope you like it…
