Spot ETFs Record Second Largest Net Outflow in History: Bitcoin Outflow of $812 Million, Ethereum Ends Continuous Fundraising Record
On August 1, the total net outflow of Bitcoin spot ETFs reached $812 million, setting a record for the second largest single-day fund outflow in history. Among them, Fidelity's FBTC had the largest outflow, amounting to $331 million. Other funds such as Grayscale's GBTC and BlackRock's IBIT also experienced significant net outflows.
Ethereum spot ETFs also were not spared, with a net outflow of $152 million on the same day, ending the longest continuous net inflow record of 20 days since their launch.
