August Will Arrive with a Supply of 68 Million Dollars

According to the blockchain data platform PiScan, a total of 156 million PI tokens will be released in August. This amount corresponds to approximately 68 million dollars at current prices.

What is interesting is that this massive amount comes after the release of 250 million tokens in July. So, the supply-side pressure was already strong, and now a new wave is on the way.

To absorb a large token supply, there must either be very strong demand or a speculative rally must start in the market. However, such momentum has not yet been observed on the PI side. On the contrary, despite the general upward trend in the cryptocurrency market, PI has remained outside of this rally.

Since reaching a peak of $2.98 in February, the price has dropped by almost 85%.
