Backpack, an integrated crypto exchange and self-custody wallet platform, today announced the completion of its integration with Sei Network. Sei is a Layer 1 blockchain that focuses on high-speed performance.

The Backpack wallet is now live on the Sei network and has been listed as one of the official recommended wallets, becoming a trusted foundational tool for Sei users and developers. Users can now securely store, send, and interact with Sei native assets through the Backpack mobile app, with a browser extension version coming soon. Popular dApps and projects on Sei can now be accessed directly via the Backpack wallet. Additionally, this integration has introduced native USDC support to the Backpack Exchange, facilitating stablecoin settlements and the creation of new trading pairs.

"Backpack brings technical depth and strong operational capabilities to the Sei ecosystem," said Jayendra Jog, co-founder of Sei Labs. "This integration helps us achieve our mission—to provide faster, safer, and more user-friendly digital asset interaction infrastructure for institutions and users. Backpack offers an excellent user experience, compliance, and multi-chain capabilities, combined with Sei's underlying performance, making on-chain trading simpler and more intuitive."

Currently, Backpack supports mainstream chains such as Solana, Ethereum, and Sui, with Sei being the latest Layer 1 network to complete dual-end integration with the wallet and exchange. Since its launch, Backpack Exchange's cumulative trading volume has exceeded $139 billion, rapidly becoming the preferred platform for retail and institutional traders.

"We are excited to bring SEI to our trading platform and support the ongoing development of the Sei ecosystem through the Backpack wallet, helping users and developers connect to this expanding network more conveniently," said Armani Ferrante, founder and CEO of Backpack.
