The total responsibility reserve of the five major cryptocurrency exchanges in South Korea reaches 190 million USD
According to Hash World News, after a year of the (Virtual Asset User Protection Act), the responsibility reserve of the five major cryptocurrency exchanges in South Korea has exceeded 260 billion KRW. Upbit, Bithumb, Coinone, Korbit, and Gopax have a total of 263.30381 billion KRW (approximately 190 million USD). Specifically, Bithumb has a total reserve of 150.1 billion KRW (approximately 108 million USD), with 90.6% of its custodial assets stored in cold wallets; Upbit has a total reserve of 64.2 billion KRW (approximately 46.44 million USD), with a cold wallet custodial ratio of as high as 98.3%; Coinone and Korbit have total reserves of 30 billion KRW (approximately 21.7 million USD) and 16 billion KRW (approximately 11.57 million USD) respectively; Gopax instead uses insured liability insurance to replace reserves for accounting purposes.
