NEW - South Korea sees record birth and marriage rate growth after billions was injected into programmes to encourage women to have children including cash subsidies, childminding services, infertility treatment support and dating programmes.

South Korea was highlighted last year as one of the countries with lowest birth rates and longest life expectancies.
