Barack Obama has finally responded to the accusations circulating about RussiaGate, stating that everything is false. His team has declared that these allegations are "ridiculous" and merely serve to distract attention. They remind us that, according to official reports, Russia did attempt to influence the 2016 election in favor of Trump, but never changed the actual vote results.
However, Donald Trump and Tulsi Gabbard, who now heads the American intelligence services, claim the opposite. According to them, Obama and other high officials concocted this story of a Russian conspiracy to sabotage Trump’s presidency from the outset. On July 19, Gabbard even released secret documents that, according to her, prove that Obama and his team prepared a "coup" against Trump after his election.
Trump, who has been shouting for years that #RussiaGate was a fraud, applauded these revelations. He accuses "the deep state" – meaning powerful people hidden within the administration – of orchestrating everything to make him appear as an illegitimate president. To support his claims, he shared a video showing Obama arrested in the Oval Office, with the message: "No one is above the law."
