Recently, a large number of AI-generated matrix accounts have appeared on the social media platform Threads, discussing finance, cryptocurrency, and politics. They attract attention with conspiracy theories, but the arguments behind them are entirely fabricated. Even more frightening is that these matrix accounts lead to a 'Currency Exchange Observation Station' that operates currency exchange businesses, raising suspicions that this is a planned underground currency exchange operation.
A large number of matrix accounts directing flow to illegal cash exchange groups 'Currency Exchange Observation Station'
Take @sincerekulas2025 (Lin Bianzhen) as an example, who has 1,729 followers on the Threads platform, including industry professionals. Firstly, the profile picture is obviously AI-generated, and the post content is basically in the format of 'You think... but actually...' primarily discussing finance and cryptocurrency. The tone of the articles directs events towards conspiracy theories, attempting to shape a perspective that claims insight into the underlying truth of events.
The same accounts also include @katimoharami987e, @emma154watsokm1, @lilapooryayo0864, @6brdb7ryn5g, etc. A key common point among these accounts is that they all direct flow to a Telegram group named 'Currency Exchange Observation Station.' These accounts are commonly referred to as 'matrix accounts,' and in reality, they are all operated by the same group behind the scenes.
Additionally, these accounts are also targeting Taiwan's regulatory developments, especially regarding exchanges. Articles like 'Taiwan's Exchanges Fined 3.02 Million, Just a Surface? The Real 'Cleanup Order' Has Long Been Arranged' and 'You Think This Is Anti-Fraud? Actually, the Era of Financial Data Blockade Has Arrived' are all using Taiwan's regulatory and exchange topics, fitting into the aforementioned template, generating conspiracy theory articles. Even news of Binance CEO Richard visiting Taiwan for a public meeting has been manipulated, prompting a direct response from Binance.

Four Elements to Quickly Identify Currency Exchange Matrix Accounts
The reason these matrix accounts are targeting Taiwanese exchanges and making a fuss about regulatory execution is that the 'Currency Exchange Observation Station' itself operates currency exchange businesses; in other words, the reason for smearing exchanges is that they are competing for their market.

According to the latest updates on the official website of the Securities and Futures Bureau, there are currently only 17 operators in Taiwan that can normally provide virtual asset-related services before completing the registration system.
Since the Financial Supervisory Commission instructed that methods leaving a financial record, such as bank transfers, should be used, cash transaction operators have basically declared bankruptcy, and 'Currency Exchange Observation Station' is not on the compliance list either.

This reminds me of the previously exposed 'Chain Financial Research Society'; both use almost identical methods, directing flow to cash exchange groups. What can be confirmed is that this method will continue to emerge. The simplest way is to search for the keyword 'Currency Exchange Observation Station' on Threads to find and block all accounts directing flow to this group. Essentially, by recognizing the four main elements: AI profile pictures, sensational language, directing to Telegram groups, and conspiracy theories, one can identify matrix accounts.
From the user's perspective, at least the Taiwanese exchanges are trusted and know who the operators are. Exchanging with unlicensed currency dealers not only carries the risk of receiving illegal currency but also lacks knowledge about the other party, significantly reducing security.
