Cryptocurrencies alone cannot solve the problem of massive national debt. The American debt exceeds 35 trillion dollars, while the market value of Bitcoin, for example, is much lower than this amount. While cryptocurrencies can be part of a broader strategy to protect national wealth or hedge against inflation, they are not considered a complete solution to the structural problems underlying the debt.
