The on-chain analysis platform Lookonchain revealed that SpaceX moved 1,308 BTC to a new unidentified wallet after more than three years of inactivity.

The last outgoing transaction from the wallet dates back to June 10, 2022. Based on this, the last transaction marks a significant change in the behavior of one of the entities most observed in the corporate sphere that holds Bitcoin.

According to Arkham Intelligence, SpaceX still owns 6,977 BTC, valued at approximately 822.65 million dollars.

This makes it one of the largest corporate holders of Bitcoin after Tesla, which holds 11,509 BTC worth 1.36 billion dollars. The Bitcoin holdings of SpaceX and Tesla are under the custody of Coinbase Prime.

Meanwhile, this transaction has revived speculation about Musk's crypto strategy, especially given the timing. It comes amid heightened anticipation from investors for Tesla's earnings report, scheduled for release after the market closes on Wednesday, July 23.

Options traders are already contributing, with over 47 million dollars in net call options placed on TSLA alone on Friday, July 18.
