#blackRock , the giant of asset management, continues to lead the growing institutional demand for cryptocurrencies. Last week, the firm invested over $4 billion in Bitcoin ($BTC ) and Ethereum ($ETH ), acquiring $2.57 billion in BTC and $1.76 billion in ETH. With these recent purchases, BlackRock's total cryptocurrency holdings exceed $93.9 billion, with Bitcoin representing 92% of its portfolio.
This trend is not exclusive to BlackRock; institutional interest in Ethereum, in particular, is on the rise. Other funds, such as Fidelity's FETH, have also experienced significant inflows. In addition to the major cryptocurrencies, BlackRock has diversified its investments into low-cap assets, such as Imagen Network (IMAGE) on the Solana blockchain, highlighting a continually evolving portfolio strategy in the crypto space.
