💸 BlackRock continues to replenish its $BTC reserves
The company is not slowing down the pace of accumulation and is increasing its assets every day. It recently acquired another 1,136 Bitcoins worth about $126.3M.
With a portfolio of more than 702,000 bitcoins, the asset manager and ETF issuer has surpassed longtime leaders like MicroStrategy and Binance in the months since the acquisition.
Most of BlackRock's assets are tied up in inflows into its iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) spot bitcoin ETF. Since launching in January 2024, IBIT has consistently ranked first among ETFs in terms of daily volume and net inflows, with total assets under management (AUM) of $76B
