The ecosystem $XRP set new records in July
The first sign of XRP's success is the number of new accounts activated on the XRPL. According to XRPScan, on July 18, the number of new accounts exceeded 10,000, marking the highest daily figure since February.
There is still a long way to go before the record set in December 2024 at over 30,000, however the number of new accounts is steadily increasing. This means that XRP is attracting new investors, many of whom may become long-term holders.
The number of active wallets in a day exceeded 50,500, which is 100% more compared to the previous month and is the highest figure since February. Another important achievement is that the total value locked (TVL) on the XRPL recently reached an all-time high, exceeding $92 million. The majority of this growth was attributed to the decentralized exchange (DEX) on the XRPL.
Although this figure is still small compared to the TVL on other blockchains, it marks the first breakthrough after almost a year of stagnation.
The launch of the XRPL EVM Sidechain Mainnet by Ripple in early July opened new opportunities for locking assets in liquidity pools, which directly increased the TVL on the DEX.
