Team $ETH launch update #Fusaka in November 2025
Ethereum developers plan to release the next major hard fork called Fusaka between November 5 and 12, 2025. The previous launch schedule for Fusaka was agreed upon during the AllCoreDevs call, Ethereum Daily reported.
It is known that testing for Fusaka will begin at the end of September, and the Devnet for the update is scheduled for July 23. The update will include 11 Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIP), including EIP-7825. It is noted that EIP-7907— a proposal to change the limit on the size of smart contract code— has been excluded from the Devnet.
Meanwhile, the team is working on the Glamsterdam hard fork. The final list of EIPs is expected to be approved within two to four weeks.
The statement mentions that these updates are intended to enhance the scalability of Ethereum, strengthen censorship resistance, and improve the user and developer experience when interacting with the network. Fusaka and Glamsterdam will affect how smart contracts are created and used, according to the statement.
