For example:
• “You have been named to vote on a DAO proposal!”
• “Your NFT has been successfully listed!”
• “The address you subscribed to has received on-chain activity!”
• “You have received a cross-chain deposit to your linked wallet.”
Just like the message center in Web2 apps, this functionality is currently a blank area on-chain.
What is the role of WCT?
This entire push notification network is not free; it is based on nodes and relay systems for transmission.
In the future, developers will use it, wallets will integrate it, and users will receive it,
They will all generate on-chain message traffic → consume resources → pay/reward nodes with WCT.
You heard it right; on-chain is also starting to explore the path of “communication service fees.”
Imagine this:
• Wallets become on-chain “operating systems”
• Wallets now have a “notification center”
