A special experience in #Shangrila

On the evening of July 18, 2025, we had dinner at Shangrila. A special dinner! Afterwards, we took a car back to the 'Ancient City of the Moon'

We returned to the hotel room in the cold of 11 degrees Celsius and pouring rain! Therefore, we changed our schedule to gather at the hotel, drink tea, and chat!

After 2 hours of rain easing but not completely stopping, we spontaneously decided to go down to the town to find a small tea shop, enjoying the characteristic weather of Shangrila.

At the elevator door, I saw sister Le Hang rushing over, not understanding why I shouted, "Where's the oxygen tank?" Without having time to say anything, immediately C Hang returned to her room, carrying the oxygen tank.

Descending to the town, the rain gradually eased, the weather remained biting cold, we quickly moved to the Tung Tan Lam monastery to pay our respects!

During this time, we reached the monastery and paid our respects

As for C Hang + C Tuyet, they were separated from the group due to indecision between continuing or going back and not knowing our plans for the monastery, along with their health not being good due to highland reactions! While C Tuyet and C Hang were wandering around the town, they encountered a 10-year-old boy who had fainted on the street. The boy's family (including parents and grandparents) along with local people were very confused about how to provide first aid for the boy!

Close-up of the moment the baby was rescued in time

In an instant, the baby's body stiffened, limbs curled up, and the two sisters trembled as they set up the oxygen tank for the baby!

The baby began to breathe regularly again, opened their eyes, moved their limbs, then sat up, calmed down, and was able to stand up!

A breathtaking moment – but also a strong reminder of the necessity for thorough preparation, even for a small detail like an oxygen tank.

An evening in Shangrila, a tiny life almost extinguished, and luck came to them! Infinite merit!

"When you carry life in your backpack, sometimes you also carry a miracle."

An oxygen tank – seemingly a precautionary item – became the bridge between life and death.

Never underestimate the small things. They can save a life!

You are not always warned when you become a hero. But you can choose to be ready.

Prepare well for your trips!
