The following day, Friday, July 18, President Trump signed the law, hailing it as a "phenomenal act" and paving the way for issuance by banks like JPMorgan and Bank of America.

This framework imposes safe reserves (dollars or Treasury bonds), monthly audits, and prioritizes funds in the event of bankruptcy.

Long awaited, this law marks a turning point for the stability and adoption of stablecoins in the United States.
