Why is Kobe Bryant my favorite player?

There are so many reasons to argue why a man who sadly passed away more than 5 years ago can be someone's favorite.

Certain detractors of Kobe will tell you this that you are about to read:

"Kobe had the same mentality as Jordan, it wasn't something special" "He's not top 10 all-time" or the outrageous claim of "Curry and KD surpassed Kobe".

But despite that, no one BUT REALLY NO ONE can take these thoughts away from me...

I've always thought that whoever has Kobe as their favorite player is very likely someone dedicated.

They say that you are who you identify with.

On one occasion, Kobe said the following:

"They still call me to go out to nightclubs, to strip bars, but I don't want that. What do we gain from that? Magic Johnson told me several times that I need to spend more time with the team to create better chemistry".

"With all due respect, I don't even think he believed in those methods. Going out won't make us champions. And what about the champagne? Champagne is for when you win the title".

Bryant was always a proponent of the idea of staying away from distractions, parties, and leisure, and leaving that EXCLUSIVELY for when you ACHIEVE your goals.

If you really call yourself a "Kobe fan" you can't call yourself that if you don't adhere to the philosophy of life, social dedication, and commitment that your idol had.

"No parties, no alcohol, no substances, no empty people, only dedication and success".

Kobe didn't say that, that's something that every person who wants to contribute to society should think about...
