Okay, so I fell into a little rabbit hole researching XLM today and… wow.
It’s been around for a while (launched in 2014), but somehow I completely missed it until now?
✨ What I learned: Stellar was designed to make cross-border payments cheap and fast. Like… actually fast. We’re talking 5 seconds for confirmation and super low fees — less than $0.01 per transaction.
And the best part? It’s not trying to replace traditional banking, it’s working with it. Helping people send money globally without getting eaten by fees.
I even found out that they’ve partnered with IBM and are working on real-world applications — not just hype. That honestly made me take them way more seriously.
🔍 Is it moon material? I don’t know.
But for someone like me, still learning and trying to build a little portfolio, XLM suddenly feels like a grown-up coin. It’s not just about memes and pumps — it’s about utility.
I might not FOMO in right away… but it’s officially on my radar now. 👀
(And if you’re into fast payments, maybe it should be on yours too.)
