I am ready to stay in jail for my entire life, but there is no question of bowing before oppression and tyranny. I also convey this message to the Pakistani nation that under no circumstances should they bow before this system of oppression.
The time for negotiations has now passed; it is only the time for the nation’s protest.
In the past few days, the hardships upon me in jail have increased further. My wife Bashra Begum is also facing an extended scope of oppression. The TV that was in her cell has also been shut down. All human rights and rights granted to prisoners for me and my wife have been suspended - which must be accounted for.
I know that a Colonel and Jail Superintendent Anjum are doing all this at the behest of Asim Munir.
I clearly instruct my party that if something happens to me in jail, the account should be taken from Asim Munir.
Bashra Begum is being oppressed because during my time when Asim Munir was removed from his position, he sent a message for a meeting with Bashra Begum through Zulfi Bukhari, which Bashra Begum rejected. That is why Asim Munir has imposed hardships on her. From the very beginning, his effort has been to break me by oppressing Bashra Begum.
In the jail where I am held, hundreds of killers and terrorists of Pakistan are living in better conditions than me - a military officer named Rizwan is being kept with honor and dignity, but all kinds of oppression continue upon me. Whatever they do, I did not bow before this oppression before, nor will I bow now.
For the past two years in Punjab, the atmosphere of oppression and fascism under the shadow of Maryam Nawaz and Mohsin Naqvi has ended democracy and political activities. It is commendable that all members of the assembly come to Punjab in a convoy to hold a political gathering.
At this time, many individuals including myself are enduring the harshest jails, therefore every person in the party should completely disregard their personal differences; bringing personal and internal matters into discussion in front of the media is unacceptable in any way. I firmly instruct that no high-ranking party official or low-ranking member or responsible person should express internal matters or differences of the party on social media, electronic media, print media, or any other forum. Focus solely and exclusively on the protest movement so that the restoration of human rights in the country can be possible. If any responsible person does not participate in this protest movement, then I will decide on it myself from jail.
I instruct all party members and officials to retweet my Twitter messages themselves and to reach my messages to as many people as possible.
The party should decide on Senate tickets through mutual consultation.
