💼 Bill Gates and Crypto: Why He Does NOT Believe in Bitcoin, but is Doing Something Interesting… 🤔
When people say "Bill Gates", most immediately think of Microsoft, billions, and philanthropy. But here’s the question: how much crypto does he have? And what does he really think about cryptocurrency?
Surprisingly, Bill Gates does not have any bitcoin. At all. Moreover – he is a skeptic. In one interview, he stated:
"If you have less money than Elon Musk, you’d better be careful with bitcoin."

Although he doesn’t hold crypto directly, his investment fund Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is actively investing in blockchain projects. For example, in a solution for financial accessibility in developing countries, built on blockchain but without the volatility of crypto.
He supports the technology but does not believe in speculation!
Why?
1. Gates believes that most cryptocurrencies are a bubble.
2. He believes that crypto does not create value, like, for example, a business.
3. And most importantly – it is too volatile and unstable.

In 2023–2024, his fund expanded funding for startups based on Ethereum and Solana, but exclusively for the technology, not for the "hype".
