The trader accidentally "burned" 58,000 USD worth of PUMP tokens but remains... calm

A blockchain researcher accidentally "burned" (permanently destroyed) about 58,000 USD worth of PUMP tokens from Pump.fun on #solana , but he claims he is neither sad nor angry about this costly mistake.

The incident and the surprising reaction

Chang Min Yu bought 40,000 USD worth of tokens #pump during the ICO sale of Pump.fun on Saturday. By Sunday, while cleaning up junk tokens in his wallet using the burn feature of Axiom Exchange, he mistakenly clicked on the PUMP token, thinking it was a counterfeit token, and "burned" them.

He only realized the mistake a few hours later when reading a tweet about someone burning their PUMP. Despite losing 58,270 USD, Min Yu said he is not sad or angry, as he focuses on what he can control. This calm reaction surprised his friends and partners.

Min Yu, a blockchain researcher at SuDo Research (Taiwan) and an "on-chain degen" in his spare time, confirmed the transaction wallet. He stated that his initial plan was to short PUMP to hedge against risks, although he is "bearish" on the long-term performance of this token.
