#cryptoweek The "crypto week" begins
The United States is preparing to face perhaps the most decisive days regarding the regulation of the crypto sector.
In the evening, the House Rules Committee will meet to discuss the "terms and conditions of the debate" necessary for the final approval of three specific bills: the Clarity Act, the Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act, and the GENIUS Act. Starting Thursday, the final votes will take place.
Investor attention is mainly focused on the regulations concerning stablecoins, as previously reported, a decisive step that could boost crypto adoption in the payments sector. The GENIUS Act has already been approved in the Senate, and the bipartisan support for the bill already suggested that final approval was just a matter of time.
For the crypto sector, all of this represents a breath of fresh air after years of uncertainty and regulatory pressure. Today, everything seems to have changed, and indeed, the US seems to want to carve out a leadership role in financial innovation (via crypto).
