As someone who's been in the crypto space for 4-5 years, Binance has consistently been my go-to platform. It's wild to think they're now celebrating their 8th anniversary! I vividly recall being a complete beginner, trying to navigate the complexities of crypto, and Binance was my starting point.
The remarkable growth and impact of Binance wouldn't have been possible without CZ (Changpeng Zhao). His incredible conviction, even to the point of selling his house to invest everything in crypto, led to the creation of Binance from the ground up. Today, it stands as the world's largest exchange, playing a pivotal role in the accessibility of crypto for millions.
Over these past eight years, Binance has achieved some truly astounding milestones:
* Reached over 280 million users.
* Recorded a staggering $125 trillion in trading volume.
* Witnessed its native token, BNB, surge by 5000x.
* Distributed over $70 billion to users through Earn and Launchpool programs.
* Introduced Binance Pay, serving over 45 million people.
It's truly incredible to see how far Binance has come. Happy 8th birthday to Binance! And immense respect to CZ for demonstrating what unwavering conviction can build. I'm excited to see what the future holds for the platform and the broader crypto ecosystem.
