Why is it easier to lose money in a bull market than in a bear market? There are two reasons behind this:
1. The feeling that everyone around you is making money; if you're not making money, it feels like there's something wrong with you. This FOMO (fear of missing out) mentality leads you to continually increase your positions, leverage your investments, and chase trends.
2. A bull market gives people the hope of making money, causing you to operate more boldly and lose the caution of a bear market, making you think that even if you lose on a trade, it doesn't matter, as you can easily make it back. Little do you know, the bolder you are, the more you lose.
