Bloomberg analysts believe that Bitcoin ETFs will experience a meteoric rise in the coming years. Led by BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF, Balchunas expects this group to triple the size of gold ETFs before the decade ends.
"We expect the group of spot Bitcoin ETFs to grow to triple the size of gold ETFs in the next 3 to 5 years, thanks to a solid value proposition and the marketing muscle of the issuers," said Balchunas.
Bitcoin ETFs are attracting impressive inflows for consecutive weeks amid growing institutional interest. These inflows occur in a context of increasing interest in altcoin-based ETFs among investors, with Ethereum ETFs receiving $900 million in inflows, their highest level since launch.
