According to a Foresight News report, COFCO Capital (stock code: 002423) addressed recent questions about whether its Hong Kong-based subsidiary has obtained a virtual asset trading license. The company confirmed that it is not currently involved in any virtual asset trading operations. However, COFCO Capital added that should it choose to explore this field in the future, it would fully comply with all regulatory guidelines and make necessary disclosures. Its Hong Kong subsidiary, COFCO Asset Management (International) Limited, presently holds Type 1, Type 4, and Type 9 licenses issued by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission.
