Bitcoin's Surge Catapults Satoshi Nakamoto to the List of the 11 Richest People in the World — Net Worth Reaches $130B

The founder of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, is the 11th richest person on Earth if you consider his unspent bitcoin as net worth.

Arkham Intelligence estimates that he owns 1.096 million BTC, valued at $129 billion. This would place him ahead of Michael Dell, who has $125 billion, and behind Sergey Brin, who has $140 billion.

Satoshi's Wealth in Numbers

The 1.096 million BTC mined in the early days of Bitcoin have not moved, according to Arkham Intelligence. At current prices, they are worth $129.23 billion.

Satoshi is ranked above Dell and below Brin on a real-time billionaire list with that value. Satoshi is not on the Forbes list, but his assets show where he would be.

Recent sessions saw Bitcoin reach $118,000. Satoshi's holdings remain as paper wealth if they stay there—he has no intention of selling.

An unidentified trader named apsk32 said that Bitcoin could reach $400,000. Using a three-chart model, Bitcoin's market capitalization is compared to the history of gold. Apsk32 claims that Bitcoin follows the same trend as gold, which peaked at $3,500 per ounce.

The first chart of the model shows the price of gold per ounce. The second chart compares Bitcoin's market capitalization to gold-based values. Apsk32's straight trend line corresponds to Metcalfe's Law, which states that the value of the network increases with the square of its users.

Unlike the Bitcoin Rainbow Chart, the third logarithmic chart adds support bands of 'years ahead' from 0 to 5 years ahead of the inferred price line.

According to this concept, Bitcoin has never exceeded the five-year ahead range, even during previous spikes. Currently, the one-year ahead line is at $400,000.

If history repeats itself, BTC may consider this range as a ceiling or a floor, depending on market sentiment and macroeconomic variables such as Fed policies or global demand.

Bitcoin would increase by nearly 200% from current levels, even if it reaches $400,000. The forecasts are estimates based on charts. They suggest paths, but markets surprise everyone.
